Nikita Miltiadou

President

Founding President of the Australian Sauna Association and co-founder of Blue Mountains Sauna in Leura, one of the first venues in the country dedicated to an authentic Finnish-style sauna experience. A leading voice in Australia's sauna movement, he's focused on raising standards, building community, and reintroducing traditional sauna culture in a uniquely local context.

ASA Committee, Vice President

Vice-President and a co-founder of the ASA, Paul fell in love with sauna while living in the UK. With his background in strategy & operations, Paul helps sauna & wellness businesses across Australia, New Zealand, & Canada unlock revenue through partnerships & pricing strategies, scale operations, & better plan finances. He's also an experienced sauna host, facilitating guided meditations, breathwork, and aufguss rituals.

Treasurer

Treasurer of the ASA, Freddie brings a background in corporate finance, investment, and financial modelling. His love of sauna began while living in the UK, and he now brings his wealth of knowledge in finance & social enterprises to the ASA, supporting our growth journey and mission as a not-for-profit.

A veteran of the Australian spa and wellness industry, Naomi has spent more than 30 years shaping wellness destinations in Australia and abroad. After training with leading Aufguss Masters in Europe, she is now helping grow authentic sauna culture in Australia as the Australian Sauna Association’s Committee Member lead for Aufguss & Sauna Rituals, supporting training, events and the national pathway toward the World Championships.

Co-founder of Kuuma Nature Sauna, Australia's first sauna boat, offering sauna cruises she runs alongside her husband Nathan. With a background in event management, design, and architecture, she's passionate about bringing people together through heat, connection, and the revival of the icy plunge.

Founder of Aesir Mentoring, Adam blends Nordic esoteric teachings with sauna, breathwork, and cold exposure to guide inner transformation. Raised in Brisbane with Czech roots, he's used the sauna since age 12. His Nordic Ceremonial Sauna weaves löyly, Sami-inspired ritual, and storytelling to foster clarity, resilience, and deep self-connection.

With roots in construction, wellness, and European sauna culture, he blends hands-on expertise with cultural insight. Drew also advocates for public bathing and eco-building through consulting, design, and community-driven projects.

Committee Representative and co-founder of HÅUT HUTT, Harry is helping bring wood-fired sauna to Victoria’s High Country. He brings a regional perspective to the ASA, with a focus on outdoor sauna, authentic heat, and nature-based community bathing.

Longtime advocate for authentic public bathing culture. As the co-founder of the Australian Sweat Bathing Alliance (ASBA), Jack has helped lay the groundwork for a national movement reconnecting people with the health, social, and spiritual benefits of heat. With a background in philosophy and cultural theory, he brings a unique depth to the sauna conversation, linking ancient traditions with contemporary wellbeing and climate-conscious living.

Founder of Cedar & Salt, a mobile woodfired sauna business bringing traditional heat to wild, natural settings across NSW. Inspired by Nordic sweat bathing during his time in Amsterdam, Rob now helps others navigate the trailer sauna space through hands-on experience, advocacy, and community connection.

Owner of Seasoul Sauna, a seaside barrel sauna in Melbourne dedicated to an authentic, community-minded sauna experience. Drawing on ancient Nordic practice, Seasoul pairs sauna bathing and cold plunge with the restorative pull of nature, a place to connect, heal, and thrive.

Ben has spent over a decade advising start-ups, entrepreneurs, and SMEs across Africa, Asia, and the Pacific. He brings a background in governance, senior management, business development, and international consulting to the ASA, helping us build strong foundations as we grow, while connecting Australia's growing sauna community with the wider world, alongside a genuine love of authentic sauna.
