Acceptance

By using this website or holding an ASA membership, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Membership

Paid memberships (Enthusiast, Advocate, Professional) are billed annually in Australian dollars and renew automatically unless cancelled. You can cancel any time from your member profile; cancellation stops future renewals and your benefits continue until the end of the paid period. Member benefits are described on the Get Involved page and may evolve over time. Membership fees are generally non-refundable, but if something has gone wrong, contact us and we'll work it out.

The sauna directory

The sauna map is a community directory provided for general information. While we work to keep it accurate, we don't warrant that every listing is current or complete. Always confirm details, hours, and pricing directly with the sauna before visiting.

Submissions

If you submit a sauna or other content, you confirm you have the right to share it and grant us permission to publish and edit it within the directory. We review submissions and may decline or remove any listing.

Health and safety

Sauna and cold exposure carry risks. Information on this site is general in nature and not medical advice. Always follow the operator's guidance and consult a health professional if you have concerns.

Event tickets

These terms apply when you buy tickets to an ASA-hosted event through this site. The ticket types, prices, and session times available are shown at checkout.

Pricing and fees. Prices are in Australian dollars. Where an event offers a member price, the discount is applied automatically when you're signed in on an eligible membership. A booking fee is added at checkout to cover payment processing; this fee is non-refundable.

Refunds. If we cancel the event or your session, you receive a full refund of the ticket price. Otherwise, tickets are refundable on request up to 7 days after purchase, provided the event is still 14 or more days away. Within 14 days of the event, tickets are non-refundable, though we may make case-by-case exceptions for genuine hardship. Refunds are processed by the ASA back to your original payment method; the booking fee is not returned.

Changing your session. You can change your session time yourself from your booking page (linked in your confirmation email) up to 24 hours before the event, subject to availability. A weekend-pass session can be moved to another time on the same day.

Health and liability acknowledgement. By purchasing, you acknowledge that sauna bathing and cold-water immersion carry inherent risks (including heat stress and fainting), confirm each attendee is in suitable health to participate, and agree to follow venue and staff directions at all times. Children must be supervised by their parent or guardian throughout.

Entry. Your entry passes (QR codes) are on your booking page. A ticket is valid only for the session shown on it; a weekend pass includes one session on each event day. Tickets are for personal use and should not be resold.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when they last changed; continuing to use the site or hold a membership means you accept the current version.
